Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 4, 2026 · Last Updated: May 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Digital Architex ("Digital Architex," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access our website at digitalarchitex.com, use the DARX client portal, or engage with any of our web design and development services (collectively, the "Services").
Who this policy covers. This policy applies to clients — individuals and businesses who have contracted with Digital Architex to design, build, or manage a website. It does not govern the privacy practices of the websites we build for you; those are governed by your own privacy policy published on your site.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
- Name, email address, phone number, and company name when you sign up or contact us
- Business details, branding assets, copy, imagery, and other content you provide for your website build
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number
- Messages, support requests, and any other communications you send us
b. Information we generate during service delivery
- Your website configuration, design tokens, content blocks, and CMS data stored in our platform
- Deployment records, build logs, and infrastructure metadata (GitHub repositories, Vercel projects, Google Cloud resources) provisioned on your behalf
- Billing history, subscription tier, add-on purchases, and invoices
- Activity logs within the DARX portal (logins, page edits, settings changes)
c. Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, and device information when you access our website or portal
- Usage analytics — pages visited, features used, session duration — collected via PostHog
- Cookies and session tokens required to keep you logged in and secure
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver and manage your project. Design, build, deploy, and maintain your website according to your brief and selected plan.
- Operate your portal. Provide you with access to the DARX client dashboard, CMS editor, analytics, and account management tools.
- Process billing. Charge your subscription, handle add-on purchases, apply coupons or promotions, and generate invoices through Stripe.
- Communicate with you. Send project updates, billing receipts, technical notices, and respond to your support requests.
- Power AI-assisted features. Your website content and build brief may be processed by AI systems (including large language models) to assist with design, copywriting, and configuration. See Section 5 for more detail.
- Improve our Services. Analyze aggregate usage patterns to make the platform better — without selling or monetizing your personal data.
- Comply with legal obligations. Retain records required by law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our legal rights.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Sub-processors and service providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Each receives only the data necessary for its function:
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |

| Google Cloud (Supabase) | Database, storage, and backend infrastructure | All platform data at rest |
| Vercel | Website hosting and deployment | Website code and assets |
| GitHub | Source code management | Website code repositories |
| PostHog | Product analytics | Anonymized usage events |
| HubSpot | CRM and client communications | Name, email, company, contact history |
| AI model providers | AI-assisted content and design features | Website content you provide for processing |
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Digital Architex, our clients, or others.
Business transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Authentication: Session cookies that keep you logged into the DARX portal.
- Analytics: PostHog collects anonymized data about how clients use the platform so we can identify friction and improve features. This data is not sold.
- Preferences: Cookies that remember your settings within the portal.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging into the portal.
5. AI and Automated Processing
Digital Architex uses artificial intelligence — including large language models from providers such as Anthropic (Claude) and Google — to power features like automated website generation, copy suggestions, design configuration, and the DARX reasoning system.
When you provide a build brief, upload content, or use AI-assisted features in the portal, that content may be sent to a third-party AI model provider for processing. We use these providers under data processing agreements that prohibit them from training their models on your data without consent.
AI-generated output (website copy, design suggestions, configurations) belongs to you as described in our Terms of Service. We do not claim ownership over content generated on your behalf.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls limited to authorized personnel, and secrets management through Google Cloud Secret Manager. We perform regular security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@digitalarchitex.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When your subscription is cancelled or terminated:
- Your website code and assets remain in your GitHub repository (which you own and control).
- Your Vercel deployment may be de-provisioned within 30 days of cancellation; we recommend exporting your site before that date.
- Account and billing records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to satisfy financial record-keeping requirements.
- Upon written request, we will delete personal data that we are not legally required to retain, within 30 days.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
- Opt-out of analytics: Request that your usage data not be tracked.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@digitalarchitex.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have done so inadvertently, we will delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
